There’s no escaping the cropped top this year and I really wanted to try a knit version. I wanted to give it a smart tailored look hence the use of eyelets and the ribbing detail.
The boat neckline is really flattering and the whole thing is supersoft and comfortable in Fyberspates Scrumptious 4-ply.
Of course, I know that this length of top isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and part two (photos to come soon) is a less daring longer version.
My textiles teacher kindly agreed to be my model for the longer top, so watch this space for a cute magenta version as soon as we get that photographed. I’m off to Germany for a few weeks tomorrow but hope to have the pattern available very soon after I get back.
I hope you’re all enjoying the summer holidays. We’ve had some very untypical warm weather in the UK recently and I even tried surfing whilst we were in Cornwall. Looking forward to some German sight-seeing now. Very inspiring I should think! 🙂
