Today I’m starting Thursday morning with an outfit I wore on Saturday night. Saturday marked the night that I made it one step closer to becoming the actual dancing girl emoji, you see. Big occasion. 😉 Bardot neckline with a great big giant frill, I love it! Apparently red is ‘my colour’, and I hope so because I bloody love wearing it. So I earned myself a few blogger points by squeezing outfit photos in between an afternoon at a fitness event, nipping out for emergency shoe purchases, eating a shepherd’s pie and a birthday night out with my bestest pals. Was quite the random day/night. 🙂
This dress as my main sassypants item but I can’t not give these shoes a mention too! Red dress with red shoes is maybe a touch OTT but it was love at first sight with these so I don’t really care. Lace up heel leaven, from the current fashion love of my life Marks and Spencer. Only £25 and they’re still available in both red and black, just a heads up!
dress: c/o Quiz clothing | shoes: Marks and Spencer
Also, to Amy and her nan from M&S last Saturday, if you’re reading this: thank you for helping me decide, the red ones were a good call! Big thanks for offering me your Sparks card to borrow when I’d forgotten mine too. :D Gotta love random acts of kindness from strangers! Whether it’s lending people our discount cards or telling the girl in the club toilets that her skirt’s tucked up her knickers (aka my way of passing forward the kindness on Saturday night lol), I think it’s something we should do more often. Just brightens someone’s day, right? Back in January I didn’t really make any ‘resolutions’ other than to wear more red – one I definitely can tick off the list – but I think from now on I’m gonna resolve to add more random acts of kindness into my day. Rather randomly at 7 twelfths through the year but why not. 🙂
Who’s joining me in promising to do more random acts of kindness, or make other mid-year resolutions?
