Just a casual one for nipping into town today. :) I’m rarely a jeans and a jumper kind of girl; it’s easy enough to pull on long boots, add a few accessories and a faux leather jacket and look like you made 10x more effort than you actually did. Enough for a trip to the opticians, for about the 5th time this month and I’m stillll going back on Saturday to try contact lenses. My glasses rarely make an appearance on here but I wear them loads IRL, so it’ll be a relief to ditch the frames at times.  Specsavers was followed by obligatory Primark browse ofc. Primark changing rooms always seem to bring such entertainment! Half of that stuff is impossible to get in and out of but my god does it give us a laugh haha.
scarf: Handmade | jacket: Dorothy Perkins | jeans and bag: Topshop | boots: Next | socks: H&M | top: New Look
As far as I can remember this McCafferty shawl hasn’t graced the blog since 2010 when it was first made. #TBT if you fancy a look! 2010 sounds like soooo long ago…
Knee socks peeking out over knee boots looks normal. Take the boots off and knee socks over jeans looks weirddd. In a ‘why the hell would you wear that?!?’ kind of way. Stick the boots back on, and all is well in the world. In typical Lily fashion these boots were a Next winter sale find a few years ago (£75 to £15 if I remember rightly!) and I’ve worn them every year since.
Not much else to add today so I’m gonna go make a banana loaf or 2. 🙂 (Logic)
Back tomorrow!

31st October 2014 at 1:50 amI can’t imagine you in glasses!
I love your bag. How on earth do you get your hair like that, all puffy at the back? I love your style, you’re rocking the jeans – even if you can see the socks poking through 😉

31st October 2014 at 6:17 pmI’ll have to wear them on the blog! It’s strange, because I wear them lots and people I know are used to me in them!
Thank you 😀

31st October 2014 at 6:19 pmoh and I always backcomb the top section, smooth it over and pin with hairgrips. My hair is so flyaway that it needs fastening in place, and this is pretty much my signature look haha!
