Feeling like a stylist at Teen Vogue pulling outfits together from my rails. :P  I so prefer having everything visible on a couple of rails than tucked away inside a wardrobe. Adds a nice splash to my white room and is much more convenient for playing stylist aka procrastinating! I really do think about clothes too much haha. There are a whole lotta things in life more important than our attire I knowwww, but outfits and moods can really go hand in hand. I think so, anyway. I’d have a hard time convincing my dad and brother of that one. Maybe mood isn’t the correct word, as I’d hardly say some are ‘happy day’ clothes and some are for sad days. Definitely some kinda link between ‘outfit on point’ days and confidence though. So I think a little time spent trying combinations out can be excused.
Wearing all Primark everything here, lipstick and all – they’re really nailing it atm! This necklace especially is a new fave. There are a few items I’ve seen floating around the blogosphere that I’ve checked the Preston store a couple of times for, but I think there must be special stock only available in big cities or something. Annoying. Still wearing loads of their other stuff though. Like this cheesy slogan tshirt as I type – seriously hoping the best (weather) is yet to come because I’m well and truly done with rain. It’s June for crying out loud, June!
As Mondays go, today’s been… bleugh. When texts between you and your mum are both complaining about how bored you are, you know it’s a pretty rubbish day! Gym, sorting my bathroom out, revision, lunch, that’s about it. Thrilling stuff. ;) With a hefty dose of distraction in the form of my phone and some far-too-tempting Oatie biscuits in the cupboard, of course. I shan’t go into rant mode like last week but yeah, today’s been an entirely unremarkable day. I wonder how many days of our lives pass in such a nondescript way? Days containing absolutely nothing to look back on and remember. I’m not sure whether to have a #goal (because y’know, everything seems to be #goals atm), to do something every day that’s even slightly memorable, or whether it’s OK for a number of days to fade into insignificance so that the good’ens stand out more. Pros and cons to both, I guess. Trying too hard to force something interesting to happen on a day with only super mundane stuff to do is probably a waste of time. But then again I’m sure a time will come when I’m thankful for a ‘non day’, so I should probably stop complaining!
P.S. Let’s all show our appreciation for dry shampoo and it’s 3-day-old hair reviving brilliance, dragging me one step further away from dreadlocks. Glamourous life, can you tell. 😛

1st June 2015 at 6:47 pmLooking beautiful as always Lily. I think it’s important to have days where nothing exciting happens, otherwise you’d never have a balance between that and the days that you remember for the rest of your life. x
