Whilst everyone else is embracing the pastels and florals (spring has sprung and all that), I seem to be finally discovering a love for all black. My trusty white will be back again soon I’m sure.  Following Monday’s #fbloggers chat on style eras/icons, I’d had visions of combining Sandy-style all black with this Pink Ladies-esque jacket, though I’m not sure to what degree it was successful! Part of the reason I love watching old, classic, films is of course the outfits. Sandy’s disco pants and bomber jacket combos, Ariel’s dance dress in Footloose, and Dirty Dancing Baby’s cropped tops and shorts are exactly the kind of outfits I’d love to wear now! Which movie do you think has the best fashion of all time?
Lately, I’ve been feeling more inspired creatively (for which I have the Great British Sewing Bee to thank!) so hopefully if I have any spare time this week that’s where it’ll be spent. I’ll be sure to blab about whatever I get up to here so watch this space!

31st March 2014 at 2:35 pmAll black is very cool and your outfit today is really great! Maybe one of my favourites. As for movies with the best style of all time, I’ll have a think about it and get back to you! I liked footloose and grease, but I don’t really have any outfits that come to mind. Hmm, depends of if I’m looking for knitwear or just clothes in general. Ah… I’m racking my brains here, but I can’t remember any movie outfits in particular. Shame on me!

1st April 2014 at 8:12 pmAh thank you Max! I’m a sucker for dancey musicals so they’d probably be my favourite films anyway, never mind the clothes!
