Just a quick one from me today! I’m saving the next 1000 word installment of the Lily Diaries for another time. 😀 So surprise surprise, I’m back with more beige and more Primark! I’ve suddenly become old and boring and wear beige and grey all the time. My bad. Autumn is all about the neutrals and the cosy feels though, no? Neutrals and autumn are bffs. Me and jumper dresses are also bffs, especially on the days when nothing sounds quite so repulsive as a tight waistband. Girl clothes are so uncomfy! I mean, bras are bad enough (strapless ones are defo sewn by the Devil) but then there are tight tights and skinny jeans and waist belts and eughhhh. Some days I’m all for it, some days, hell to the NO. I’d rather wear a fleece tracksuit than tight denim. Who remembers tracksuits as actual day to day wear? LOL. I had a pinky grey one with embroidered flowers on the pockets and slightly flared pants. Oh to be a child in 2004.
OK so this was supposed to be an ‘outfit post’ until I realised you can’t properly see my boots, and even if you could, a dress and boots hardly constitutes an outfit outfit does it? I’d worn it with maroon over the knee socks for college, but then couldn’t find them so pls imagine.
Those of you who made it through 8 minutes of me waffling about clothes/mincing around in front of a camera might recognise this one from my Primark haul. I’ve spent ages today editing video too but no more hauls just yet – I’ve been cracking on with some vids for work this time! I actually really enjoy video editing once I get into it and figure out what I’m doing, but MY GOD it’s a painful job when technology is against you. So 99% of the time, basically. So annoying when a job that should take 2 hours ends up taking 6! I feel like I’m learning loads in the process though. Pro video editor I am not, but I managed that ‘clips changing in time with the music’ thingy which I was pretty happy with! Small achievements guys. The little things in life and all that.
And there you have a final photo of me, chilling against a bridge, wearing a ‘non-outfit outfit’, whilst out for an evening drive with my mummy for a break from my to-do list as long as my arm. Not an exaggeration.
Here’s to many jumper-dress-cosy-comfy days to come. 🙂

28th September 2015 at 1:01 pmAll hail the jumper dress! Nothing says autumn like a cozy dress, leggings and boots – comfy AND warm. What more could a girl wish for? 🙂
(Oh, and I’m totally in agreement with you on the whole strapless bra issue 😛 )
