Forgot to mention my little trip to New York!  I joke of course (New York I wish) but doesn’t the street above look like it could be downtown NYC?  We chose this spot for an evening city photoshoot of my friend Saskia, and of course I tagged along for reflector holding duties and a couple of shots myself.

Compared to the amount of white pieces I own, there is actually very little black in my wardrobe at all.  These new H&M shorts I picked up last Friday are one of possibly only 2 or 3 black items, although I am finding myself liking more darker shades recently. Unfortunately I can’t say that my jumper is handknitted this time, but it is cosy nonetheless, and therefore perfect for balancing out the shorts.  Only in an ideal world could I make all my clothes myself!  The amount of cosy jumpers and fancy skirts I’d make would be ridiculous.

And the socks – finally a pair just about long enough for this lanky gal!  I never usually think I look tall on camera but I think my height actually shows in this shot above.  Hence the fact that I hardly ever wear even the tiniest of heels.

I feel like a proper fashiony blogger wearing statement necklaces and all!  So many times I’ve looked back at an outfit and thought that it was definitely missing something, and generally this is due to forgetting to accessorise at all.  The silver spikes on this Primark necklace seem to go with pretty much everything – not bad for a £4 bargain.

I promise I don’t have a permanent bitchface btw…seeing all these pictures together I’ve realised I look fairly moody.  There were plently of laughs behind the scenes; Saskia, my mum and I always manage to find entertainment in people watching.
