bring on the blogger cliché shot

woodland-shoot

My love for capes continues, even if it means feeling kinda superhero-esque when wandering through the park!  Since moving house we’ve been out a couple of times just wandering and exploring (and location scouting for photos, ngl).  We’ve hardly moved far and knew the area anyway, but you notice so much more on foot than driving past.  Weird how there are places I must’ve passed in the car hundreds of times but never knew existed!  This little park area for one.  Kinda fun to play tourist in your hometown once in a while.  Plus, it’s fun to be nosy and gawp at big fancy houses haha.  I know I can’t be the only one who does this!

Can you tell I have a bit of a thing for dungarees and pinafores too?  I can’t actually remember when I got this one.  It’s very much on the short side, as you can probably tell, but that’s what thick tights are for isn’t it.  And long capes draping down the back, just in case.  The really thin corduroy material is one of those you can barely feel you’re wearing when it’s loose too, so I was constantly checking that my skirt was actually still there.  Because it’s definitely not beyond the realm of possibility that I’d walk around with skirt tucked in tights without noticing.  Hasn’t happened before or anything…

Doing my best Rosie Londoner pose at the front door!  Might as well go embrace the blogger clichés.

Sunday has come around farrr too quickly for my liking.  I’ve woken up full of a cold pretty much every day this week, which seems to last for a few hours, then I feel fine the rest of the day, then bleugh again the next morning.  Not exactly what I need right now but sod’s law would be wouldn’t it!  I’ll be dancing all afternoon at our first full school show rehearsal and have a few homework bits and bobs to finish off, so safe to say I’ll be knackered by tonight.  Again, not the best setup for another busy week to come, but I’ll manage!  She says, sniffling…
