“What sound do you hate hearing?”
Two songs playing at once! Really gets to me, I canny cope. :P My brother is the absolute worst for playing music when there’s already something else on, and it drives me mad haha! Funny because I’m actually pretty good at multitasking, but something about two songs/sounds really grates on me. Music in the background helps some people to work, but it really isn’t helpful to me. I’m one of those who likes it quiet when I’m doing work or something that requires me to kick my brain into gear! At school I remember leaving English lessons to go write my essays on my own in the dining hall, then coming back at the end when I’d finished. I also sat on my own on the floor in the corridors a few times for the quietness… (I don’t do that anymore dw)
cape: Topshop | top: River Island | skirt: New Look | boots: Preston Market
Andddd here’s my take on both the capes and long boots trends… a cape AND long boots! Ta-da! Genius ain’t I? I’m not usually too fussed about ‘trends’ as such, but if I like the clothes, I’ll wear them and embrace it. Both this top and cape (jacket? XXL scarf?) were birthday presents a few weeks ago. Let me tell you that wearing what is essentially a blanket to college was quite possibly the best idea I ever did have. During the course of the day I use it a) as a cape, like a normal person; b) as a blanket, swaddling myself; and c) with the ‘fronts’ slung over each shoulder and half smothering my face. Versatile or what ey? Usually I wear long sleeves underneath too, ’cause bare arms for a full day might be too much even for me by now. But on the weekends or when the outfit says so, of course I can hack it! Going out with bare arms and/or legs at night in November, anyone?
Lipstick is Rimmel Lasting Perfection by Kate Moss (surprise, surprise) in shade 05.
This River Island ribbed poloneck is a cropped top that actually reaches my waistline; a rare phenomenon I assure you. I’ve kind of decided that pale blue is ‘my colour’ haha – you know the old fashioned ideas about matching your eyes to your clothes or something like that? I reckon there’s something in it. 😛
Hope everyone’s having a good week so far! Happy Tuesday and that. ;D I’m a bit all over the place this week what with extra days in college and a couple of weekend events, so I truly am busy for now. And it’s Christmas in exactly a month, whatttt? How did that happen?

25th November 2014 at 11:30 pmI hear you on the two songs. I think that’s why I hate blogs that auto play songs or videos so much. You then have to search for the source of madness and pause it!
I also have ringing in my ears that is pretty frustrating at the moment. I don’t know how to make it stop.

Aw I’m really glad you’re liking it! I’m enjoying writing about different, more random topics than usual!

26th November 2014 at 8:17 pmDouble sounds is definitely a pain!! I hate it, though sometimes I do watch you tube with the TV on.. Looove the outfit, I really want a cape – it is on my must buy soon list, and the skirt is lovely too – I used to wear floral skirts all the time but feel like I haven’t worn one in ages now! x

2nd December 2014 at 7:46 pmIsn’t it just! Thank you!
I’d highly recommend a cape, they’re much warmer than you’d think too! I love floral skirts but only actually have one!
