november writing challenge | day 23 | things I use

brew

“Name the last 3 things you used today”

  • My bus pass.  How exciting.  My bus pass is just my lanyard, which I quite often forget I’m wearing until I go to change into my pyjamas!  And then I swear I feel cold when I take it off.  It’s like a scarf.  Spending at least an hour on a bus every day does eat time away, but I use that time to sleep or chat anyway so I don’t mind too much.  Bus time is chill time.  Not a fan of walking home in the dark though -.-
  • My phone/iPod.  Could pretty much answer any question like this with either of these two, so would be a boring (but true) answer!  Last app I used was likely Twitter.  I have just over 3000 tweets now which seems like loads to me, but it baffles me how people can have 50,000+!  I use Tweetdeck when I’m on a laptop, and it’s great for seeing everything in one place.
  • The kettle.  Brew when I get in is an absolute must, habit that it’s pretty much the first thing I do!  As is a brew with breakfast in the morning, brew when my Dad gets home, brew before bed…

And now you possess the most useless information imaginable about my life.  I could go on making the list even more boring: I used a pen a few minutes ago would you believe!  Funny this blogging business, isn’t it?

Thanks Summer! I’m not sure I’d be able to keep it up long term, but I’m glad I gave it a shot!

Haha that’s not boring, that’s actually interesting to learn about those little things! Also, brewing tea sounds a lot British to me! But well, to be honest I’m about to brew some tea myself, I guess it became an international trend 🙂

I’m glad you think so! I don’t brew tea properly every time, just a good old teabag, hot water and milk! ‘Brew’ is just standard word for any hot drink pretty much round here haha 😀

Why not knit on the bus?! I’d love to have that much time for knitting! I’m so envious of you right now with autumn upon us. We are trying to sort out a way to move to England, if only for a few years. Probably near London. Likely a pipe dream but we’re going to try anyway.
