Simple outfits don’t particularly lend themselves to description, but I think the fact that my top, skirt, socks and earrings cost £8 put together speaks for itself! A red leather-look skirt isn’t something I’d splurge on, but for £3 from the Primark sale shelf I couldn’t pass it up. You’ll have seen these Topshop boots many a time now, and if I worked out the cost per wear then they’d be cheap as chips I’m sure. I may have even worn them with fleece pyjamas to nip to Texaco at 10pm for biscuits last night, but that’s probably not something a blogger should admit to 😉
A question for my fellow fringe girls: how do you keep your fringe from frizzing and curling and flying all over the place? I’m forever longing for Zooey Deschanel’s hair but haven’t mastered the art yet!
This week is running away with me; I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already. I’d like to think I’m pretty good at facing the cold for the sake of a few outfit shots, but I am grateful that we’re having a mild spell where one layer of clothing is more bearable for a few minutes. Bring on Spring. 😀
Time for me to catch up on days’ worth of LFW posts on bloglovin. May take a while so I’d best crack on!

20th February 2014 at 4:10 pmI started using Wen (QVC carries it, I’m sure you can find it in the UK) about 2 years ago and my hair is finally the hair I was meant to have. The frizz is gone, I can curl it, straighten it, do anything I want with it and it holds the style. I grew up with uncontrollable hair – thick, textured, curly, frizzy…I had every problem. Took me awhile to find just the right one for me – I like Fig and I alternate or mix with Pomegranate. It’s not as expensive as it sounds – I only cleanse my hair every other day (I used to have to wash it with shampoo every day in order to try to tame it) and a 16 oz bottle lasts 2-3 months. Just be sure to rinse it twice as long as you think you need to!

22nd February 2014 at 1:53 pmI’ll give it a shot, thanks for the recommendation! My hair used to be quite thick but as it’s grown it’s gotten finer, so I’m really trying to get it in better condition. Wen does sound fantastic though!
