november writing challenge | day 11 | lies

“What was the last lie you told?”

‘I’ll be 2 minutes!’  This morning, and pretty much every other morning.  Not the gravest of lies but probably the one I tell most often, and the most recent!  It is my intention to take only 2 minutes to sort my hair out, find my keys, get my bag together and pack my lunch.  Somehow doesn’t quite happen, would you believe.  No matter how organised I think I am (usually, not very), I think I’m yet to make it out the house unrushed.  It’s inevitable.  Those 5 minutes before 8am are the fastest 5 minutes of the day fo’ sho’.

A long weekend has completely messed up my knowing what day it is, but I’m clearly not gonna complain about a 3 day week!  So far I’ve managed to avoid needing to go into college on a study day, and it’d probably feel weird to go back to 5 day weeks now.  Hard life. ;)  Today’s just been a standard day, nothing special, nothing particularly exciting to write about.  No point pretending every day is thrilling is there?  Tell me something exciting from your day instead!

Aw I’m glad you liked it! I always find 10 more things to do in those few minutes haha. Lucky you! I love when you forget a parcel is due to arrive and then it’s a nice surprise! 😀

Usually when I tell someone I’ll be there in 2 minutes (or 5 or 10, whatever) I AM there in x amount of minutes. People tell me the same but they are NEVER there… haha so frustrating!

Beautiful layout, I love how it turns into a one column layout when I click on the post 😀

That is a talent to be proud of!
I’m glad you like it! I wasn’t sure about the one columned layout but I guess it’s nice not to have a siderbar and keep it simple sometimes 🙂
