More party outfits!  No secret that I love Jones + Jones dresses so nothing new there. Today’s star of the show is this ‘Bowie’ number. I’ve worn a couple of their classic styles before and can safely say they’re THE BEST for being girly and twirly and kinda vintage-y at the same time. Love it. :) Kinda cutesy in the front and then OOH the back’s all open. Very sassy. Any sticky-outy dress is sassy really. Perfect as a winter party dress that’s not too full-on.This one’s the first of their shorter dresses I’ve tried – the torso’s pretty long so I’m just about safe. No cheeky Marilyn moments hopefully!
Much as I would have liked to prance around in my dress in front of a cute backdrop like with my previous J+J dresses, there was no way that was happening yesterday! Wind-blasted, rain-soaked, skirt flying everywhere would not have been a pretty sight. I’ll hack the cold when it’s worthwhile (blogger dedication and that) but not when I’m gonna look an absolute mess anyway!
The skirt’s a dogtooth print btw – just such a tiny one that looks grey on screen and does that funny pixelated thing.
New party shoes too, from TU at Sainsbury’s would you believe. Nipped to the supermarket with mum to pick up some food, and a pair of shoes miraculously made it home with us too. No idea how that happened!
Think I’m gonna leave it there today! Just appreciate the pretty dress, would you? I had my belated 18th party last night and my brain’s on a go slow, I’m sorry. Sign of a good night. :P Hope you all had a good weekend!
